Huawei MediaPad M2 Teardown

Step 1

Separate the display module from the cover.

Warning!

For careful separation, we recommend using a heat gun. At the same time, it is necessary to heat carefully in order, not to damage the surface of the device.

Step 2

Using a screwdriver (Phillips 1.5 mm PH000), unscrew 3 bolts and remove the brackets hold the connectors.

Step 3

Disconnect the connectors of the display module and battery.

Step 4

Using a screwdriver (Phillips 1.5 mm PH000), unscrew 6 bolts.

Step 5

Remove the brackets hold the commector and charging port. 

Step 6

Disconnect connectors and remove the inter-board cable with charging port.

Step 7

Using a screwdriver (Phillips 1.5 mm PH000), unscrew 7 bolts in the buzzer (speaker) assemblies.

Step 8

Disconnect the connector and remove the buzzer (speaker) assemblies.

Step 9

Using a screwdriver (Phillips 1.5 mm PH000), unscrew 4 bolts securing the main camera.

Step 10

Disconnect connector on the PCB and remove the main camera.

Step 11

Using a screwdriver (Phillips 1.5 mm PH000), unscrew 3 bolts and remove the bracket.

Step 12

Using a screwdriver (Phillips 1.5 mm PH000), unscrew 6 bolts in the buzzer (speaker) assemblies.

Step 13

Disconnect the connectors and remove the buzzer (speaker) assemblies.

Step 14

Using a screwdriver (Phillips 1.5 mm PH000), unscrew 1 bolt and remove the bracket holds the front (selfie) camera.

Step 15

Disconnect connector on the PCB and remove the front (selfie) camera.

Step 16

Disconnect connectors on the PCB.

Step 17

Remove the PCB.
