Samsung Galaxy Note Pro 12.2'' SM-P905 Teardown

Step 1

Pull the stylus (pen) out.

Step 2

Open the back cover.

Step 3

Disconnect the battery connector.

Warning!

We strongly recommend disconnecting the connector to avoid a possible short circuit during disassembly.

Step 4

Disconnect connectors and remove the inter-board cable.

Step 5

Pry up the connector and remove the power button cable. 

Step 6

Using a screwdriver (Phillips 1.5 mm PH000), unscrew 1 bolt securing the cable with SIM and Micro SD holders.

Step 7

Remove the cable with SIM and Micro SD holders.

Step 8

Using a screwdriver (Phillips 1.5 mm PH000), unscrew 2 bolts securing the charging port.

Step 9

Disconnect connectors and remove the cable with the charging port.

Step 10

Using a screwdriver (Phillips 1.5 mm PH000), unscrew 8 bolts securing the battery.

Step 11

Lift and remove the battery.

Step 12

Using a screwdriver (Phillips 1.5 mm PH000), unscrew 1 bolt securing the buzzer (speaker) assembly.

Step 13

Remove the buzzer (speaker) assembly.

Step 14

Using a screwdriver (Phillips 1.5 mm PH000), unscrew 2 bolts securing the buzzer (speaker) assembly.

Step 15

Remove the buzzer (speaker) assembly.

Step 16

Using a screwdriver (Phillips 1.5 mm PH000), unscrew 2 bolts securing the headphone jack/socket.

Step 17

Disconnect the connector on PCB and remove the cable with headphone jack/socket and vibration motor.

Step 18

Disconnect the connector on PCB, and remove the main camera.

Step 19

Disconnect the connector on PCB, and remove the cable with microphone.

Step 20

Disconnect connectors on the PCB.

Step 21

Remove the PCB.

Step 22

Remove the front (selfie) camera.

Step 23

Using a screwdriver (Phillips 1.5 mm PH000), unscrew 1 bolt in the lower part. 

Step 24

Remove the side bar with antennas and coaxial cable.

Step 25

Parts are in the frame of the display module.
