The device arrived with a complaint about periodic microphone malfunctions. We start with diagnostics: checking the flex cable and connectors to the bottom board. We discover that the lower part of the connector on the main board is cracked and does not hold the flex cable properly.
Problem: Because of this, contact with the bottom board is periodically lost, leading to the microphone and speaker cutting out.
Solution: The old, damaged connector was removed and replaced with a new one. Thanks to this replacement, all malfunctions were fixed, and the phone was returned to the owner in full working condition. 👍
