Samsung Galaxy A33 SM-A336

When Samsung smartphones come in for repair without visible damage (not cracked or water-damaged), in 90% of cases, the issue lies in damaged connectors on the motherboard. 😒

1️⃣ Carefully disassemble the device using special tools (spudgers, screwdrivers).

2️⃣ First, inspect the flex cable connector on the main board. In this case, we see that the middle of the connector is loose, and one edge is completely broken.

3️⃣ Carefully desolder the damaged connector using a soldering iron. It’s important not to overheat the board to avoid damaging nearby components.

Clean the pad from solder residue, preparing it for the installation of a new connector.

Install the new connector and solder it in place, ensuring precision and care.

4️⃣ After replacing the connector, always check the soldering quality under a microscope.

This ensures that all contacts are securely connected and there are no short circuits or unsoldered areas. 🔍

5️⃣ Reassemble the device, connect the battery, and test its functionality.

Turn on the phone—it successfully boots up!

Connect the charger—the phone starts charging normally. 😀

Problem solved! Replacing the flex cable connector is an effective solution for cases where the phone won’t turn on or charge.

🔥 If you’re not confident in your skills, it’s better to leave the repair to professionals!
