Samsung S22 (S901) – Not Powering On After Connecting a Non-Original Charger!⚡️

1️⃣ We disassemble the phone and conduct a visual inspection. No damage is visible on the upper part.

2️⃣ However, upon inspecting the lower sub-board, it becomes evident that there was either a voltage spike in the network or an issue with the charger itself, as the lower board is significantly damaged.

The client claims this happened while the phone was charging, but the damage looks like it’s been through a microwave 😏

3️⃣ We install a new lower board and connect it to the tester, which still shows a short circuit in the charging line.

This indicates that, in addition to the lower board, at least the charging controller is also fried 😞

4️⃣ We carefully cut out a small piece of the frame where the charging controller is located.

5️⃣ Even visually, it's clear that the controller chip is damaged.

6️⃣ Next, we follow standard procedure: we remove the damaged chip with a soldering station, clean off the old solder, apply new solder, and place the new chip in position 😊

7️⃣ We check the line with a tester to ensure there’s no short circuit and connect the charger. Everything works, and the repair is complete! 👍
