Philips Xenium E580

Push-button Philips!

A common problem, the backlight of the display disappears, on this model and similar ones!

Due to the fact that the display itself is not glued well enough and eventually moves away from the circuit board and over time the part of the cable that is responsible for the backlight breaks.

So we clean the place of damage with a scalpel from below and above from the place of damage on the flat cable.

We apply flux and tin to the tracks.

Solder thin copper wires that will connect the pins of the tracks (bridge over the break).

Glue a piece of adhesive tape to protect our work.

Apply double-sided tape along the contour of the display to glue it.

The backlight of the display appears - Repair completed!
