Quite often it happens that on the phones of the manufacturer Samsung, along with the lack of charging, appears a message: "battery temperature is too high or too low!". At the same time, the device itself does not heat up and you will not feel anything when you touch it.

When the device is turned off, the message looks like on the picture.

So here it is. The cause of the malfunction is most often a temperature sensor (thermistor) malfunction due to a liquid or mechanical impact.

Let's disassemble our Samsung Galaxy A12 and inspect the sub-board where the thermistor is located for damage.

As we can see in the picture it is located in the upper right corner of the sub-board.

If you look at it from an angle, you can see that the edge of the thermistor, on one side, is floating in the air and has no contact.

Using a soldering iron, we solder the damaged contact and at the same time solder the second element next to it, just in case.

And as we can see in the picture the phone started to charge and the indicator started to show an increasing percentage of charge.

In fact, this is a really simple repair that does not take much time. However, an experienced or diligent technician will be able to quickly identify such a fault.
