🛠 **Difficulty:** 🟢⚪️⚪️
⏰️ **Estimated Time:** 20 minutes
This is a relatively simple battery replacement procedure for the Xiaomi Redmi Note 10 Pro.
As usual, begin by heating the back cover to make removal easier.
🔋 The original battery model is **BN53** with a **5020mAh** capacity.
After heating, carefully remove the back cover using a plastic film and a small amount of isopropyl alcohol.
⚠️ Caution: Be especially careful near the fingerprint sensor button—the ribbon cable runs just under the cover and can be damaged if you insert the film too deep.
Remove the screws securing the internal frame.
⚠️ Note: The screws vary in color—black at the top, light-colored at the bottom.
Don’t forget to remove the SIM tray.
You can skip removing one of the screws that holds the bottom loudspeaker—it’s not required ☺️
Unclip the frame around the edge of the phone.
Open it gently to the left, being mindful not to damage the fingerprint button’s ribbon cable.
Disconnect the battery connector as well as the fingerprint scanner ribbon cable.
Peel off the orange pull tab from the battery and then the center section.
Pull the tab from both the top and bottom, ensuring the middle portion stays adhered to the frame and does not remain stuck to the battery.
At this stage, things should look approximately like this 😀
The battery will likely still be adhered on the right side.
Once the battery is detached, the adhesive film used can often be reused.
Install the new battery, verifying that everything is properly aligned and in place.
Before fully reassembling the phone, test the new battery to ensure it’s functioning correctly.
After successful testing, clean off the old adhesive from the frame and degrease the surface.
Apply B7000 adhesive around the frame perimeter and reattach the back cover.
