Apple iPhone 6S Teardown

Step 1

Using the key tool, open the SIM card slot and remove it.

Warning!

Do not push too hard this may cause damage.

Step 2

Using a screwdriver (Star Shape 0.8mm Pentalobe), unscrew the 2 bolts on the end of the phone.

Step 3

Lift the display & Using a screwdriver (Phillips 1.5 mm PH000), unscrew 2 bolts and remove the bracket holds the connectors.

Step 4

Disconnect the battery connector.

Warning!

We strongly recommend disconnecting the connector to avoid a possible short circuit during disassembly.

Step 5

Using a screwdriver (Phillips 1.5 mm PH000), unscrew 4 bolts and remove the bracket holds the connectors.

Step 6

Disconnect connector on the PCB and remove the display.

Step 7

Using a screwdriver (Phillips 1.5 mm PH000), unscrew 2 bolts and remove the bracket holds the connectors.

Step 8

Using a screwdriver (Phillips 1.5 mm PH000), unscrew 5 bolts and remove the Wi Fi antenna.

Step 9

Using a screwdriver (Phillips 1.5 mm PH000), unscrew 1 bolt.

Step 10

Using a screwdriver (Phillips 1.5 mm PH000), unscrew 2 bolts and remove the bracket.

Step 11

Using a screwdriver (Phillips 1.5 mm PH000), unscrew 2 bolts and remove the bracket holds the camera.

Step 12

Disconnect connector on the PCB and remove the main camera.

Step 13

Using a screwdriver (Phillips 1.5 mm PH000), unscrew 2 bolts in the PCB.

Step 14

Disconnect connectors on the PCB.

Step 15

Remove the PCB.

Step 16

Using a screwdriver (Phillips 1.5 mm PH000), unscrew 2 bolts and remove the vibrator.

Step 17

Using a screwdriver (Phillips 1.5 mm PH000), unscrew 5 bolts.

Step 18

Pry & remove the part with speaker (buzzer).

Step 19

Using a screwdriver (Phillips 1.5 mm PH000), unscrew 8 bolts and remove the laying.

Step 20

Remove the flaxible flat cable with a microphone, lightning\charging port and headset jack.

Step 21

Parts in the back cover (housing).
