Step 2. Remove the tray
Use the ejection tool (aka Needle) or Paperclip. Push the tip all the way into the hole until the tray ejects, and then pull the tray of SIM card out.
â ī¸ī¸ Pay attention! The tool must be inserted into a hole on the edge of the phone's housing. Do not press too hard. It may break the tray eject mechanism.
Step 3. Open the back cover
â ī¸ī¸ In our case there was an antenna band, glued to the back cover. The risk of damaging this band is extremely high.
We recommend using a special heating device such as a separator machine, heat gun, or heating mat. It will simplify the process. You can use a home hairdryer, but you will have to make a nozzle by hand or have a suitable one in the kit to gently heat and concentrate the heat flow in the right place.
âšī¸ī¸ The surface of the back cover must be heated to soften the adhesive underneath. The approximate heating temperature is 50° C / 125° F.
Use a thin plastic film or pick for separation. To facilitate the process, you can use isopropyl alcohol. It is often the most difficult to pass the tool between the parts to be divided. Choose the far edge from the FFC cables or buttons.
Do not use a lever or any force for separation that could damage the elements inside.
Step 4. Unsolder the wires
Unsolder the battery wires as soon as possible.
âšī¸ī¸ The Fake iPhone 13 Pro model does not have a battery identical number. Capacity is also unknown.
â ī¸ī¸ It is highly recommended to unsolder the wires to avoid possible short circuits during disassembly.
Step 5. Unscrew the screws
Using a screwdriver (Phillips 1.5 mm PH000), unscrew 6 screws.
If the screws are different: âšī¸ī¸ Be sure to note the location of the screws before disassembling. When assembling the device, screwing the screw in the wrong place may damage the device or its parts. To avoid damage, the removed screws and individual pieces (as gaskets or brackets) must be laid out in the appropriate order, or the screws and their holes in the phone must be marked with colored markers.
Step 6. Remove the loudspeaker
â ī¸ī¸ Be careful! The loudspeaker is wired to the sub-board.
Gently lift the loudspeaker by the edge up and rotate it to give us room to work with the sub-board.
Step 7. Disconnect the connectors
Disconnect the coaxial cable connector, inter-board sub-screen cable on the daughterboard.
â ī¸ī¸ Do not pull on the cable or pry it with a sharp tool, the connectors are pretty weak and break easily, or the cable falls out of the end (lug).
Step 8. Unscrew one screw
Using a screwdriver (Philips 1.5 mm PH000), unscrew one screw securing the sub-board.
Step 9. Remove the daughterboard
Because we have a loudspeaker that is soldered to the sub-board with wires. So you have to carefully pry off the edge, and remove the sub-board with a loudspeaker.
âšī¸ī¸ The sub-board contains a charging port, microphone, wires for the loudspeaker, and (maybe) an antenna unit.
Step 11. Open the cover
Lift the cover up and remove it. On the cover are located fake lenses for rear cameras and a flashlight.
Step 12. Unscrew the screws
Using a screwdriver (Philips 1.5 mm PH000), unscrew two screws securing the side buttons.
Step 14. Unscrew one screw
Using a screwdriver (Philips 1.5 mm PH000), unscrew one screw securing the motherboard.
Step 15. Remove the cameras
Disconnect the connectors and remove one front (selfie) camera and one rear camera.
Step 16. Disconnect the connectors
â ī¸ī¸ Be careful! The earpiece speaker is soldered with wires on one side and a flat cable on the other. Moreover, the speaker is glued to the display frame. To remove the motherboard we have to unstick the earpiece speaker and not damage the cable and wires.
Pry up the connectors of the display module cable, inter-board cable, and coaxial cable.
Also we have to unsolder the connector of the power button.
Step 17. Remove the motherboard
Carefully remove the printed circuit board. There is no need to use a lever or try to reach the circuit board by force. Make sure that nothing is getting in the way or holding the circuit board.
The motherboard, also, may be attached with attachments like latches or hooks, be careful.
â ī¸ī¸ Do not bend the circuit board when removing it or push tools under it. Unbeknownst to yourself, you can damage components or cables from the inside.
Step 19. Disconnect the connector
Disconnect the inter-board connector.
To remove the second sub-board, we have to either unstick the vibration motor wired to the sub-board or unsolder the wires.
Step 21. In the display frame remained
âšī¸ī¸ In the display frame remained: the coaxial cable, battery.
