Disassembly/Repair of the mobile device HTC One A9 (HTC One A9u 2PQ9100) with each step description and the required set of tools.

Step 1.

Using the key tool, open the SIM card and Micro SD card trays and remove them.

⚠️ Warning!

Do not push too hard this may cause damage.

Step 2.

Open the back cover.

⚠️ Warning!

For careful separation, we recommend using a heat gun. At the same time, it is necessary to heat carefully in order, not to damage the surface of the device.

Step 3.

Using a screwdriver (Phillips 1.5 mm PH000), unscrew 2 bolts and remove the bracket holding the display module connector.

Step 4.

Pry up the connector and remove the display module.

Step 5.

Using a screwdriver (hex T5), unscrew 8 bolts.

Step 6.

Pry and remove the middle cover.

Step 7.

Disconnect the battery connector. The battery model of HTC One A9 is B2PQ9100.

⚠️ Warning!

We strongly recommend disconnecting the connector to avoid a possible short circuit during disassembly.

Step 8.

Using a screwdriver (hex T5), unscrew 3 bolts.

Step 9.

Using a screwdriver (hex T5), unscrew 1 bolt in the daughter board.

Step 10.

Disconnect connectors on the daughterboard.

Turn over PCB, disconnect the coaxial cable connectors from the inside and remove the board.
