Step 1.

Remove the trays

Using the key tool, open the SIM and Micro SD cards tray and remove it.

⚠ Warning!

Do not push too hard this may cause damage.

Step 2.

Open the back cover

Open the back cover and turn it over.

⚠ Warning!

For careful separation, we recommend using a heat gun. At the same time, it is necessary to heat carefully in order, not to damage the surface of the device.

Step 3.

Open the cover

Pry up the fingerprint sensor connector and remove the cover.

Step 4.

Unscrew the screws

Using a screwdriver (Phillips 1.5 mm PH000), unscrew 7 screws.

Step 5.

Unscrew the screws

Using a screwdriver (Phillips 1.5 mm PH000), unscrew 3 short screws.

Step 6.

Open the mid-frame

Pry and remove the middle frame.

Step 7.

Remove the bracket

Remove the bracket.

Step 8.

Disconnect the battery connector

Disconnect the battery connector. The battery model of Huawei Honor 20S is HB356687ECW.

⚠ Warning!

We strongly recommend disconnecting the connector to avoid a possible short circuit during disassembly.

Step 9.

Remove the fingerprint sensor

Pry up the connector and remove the fingerprint sensor cable.

Step 10.

Remove the protective film

Peel back the protective layer.

Step 11.

Remove the battery

Peel back the battery adhesive tab and remove the battery.

Step 12.

Disconnect the connector

Pry up the display module connector.

Step 13.

Unscrew the screws

Using a screwdriver (Phillips 1.5 mm PH000), unscrew 6 screws.

Step 14.

Unscrew one screw

Using a screwdriver (Phillips 1.5 mm PH000), unscrew one screw.

Step 15.

Remove the loudspeaker

Pry and remove the assembly consisting of loudspeaker and vibration motor.

Step 16.

Remove the interconnect cable

Disconnect connectors and remove the inter-board cable.

Step 17.

Remove the coaxial cable

Disconnect connectors and remove the coaxial cable.

Step 18.

Remove the sub-board

Remove the daughterboard, also known as sub-board.

Step 19.

Remove the front camera

Disconnect the connector on PCB, and remove the front (selfie) camera.

Step 20.

Remove the cameras

Disconnect the connector on PCB, and remove the assembly of three rear cameras.

Step 21.

Remove the motherboard

Remove the PCB.

Step 22.

Remove the earpiece speaker

Pry and remove the earpiece (speaker).

Step 23.

Remove the small board

Remove the small board.

Step 24.

In the display frame remained

Parts are in the frame of the display module.
