Disassembly/Repair of the mobile device Huawei Honor 8 (Huawei Honor 8 FRD-L09) with each step description and the required set of tools.

Using the key tool, open the SIM card and MMC card tray and remove it.

Open the back cover.

The fingerprint sensor (located in the back cover) connects to the PCB via the cable.

Using a screwdriver (Phillips 1.5 mm PH000), unscrew 1 bolt and remove the bracket holds the connectors of the battery and fingerprint sensor.

Pry up the fingerprint sensor connector.

Using a screwdriver (Phillips 1.5 mm PH000), unscrew 16 bolts in the frame of the phone.

Pry and remove the middle frame.

Disconnect the battery connector.

⚠ Warning!

We strongly recommend disconnecting the connector to avoid a possible short circuit during disassembly.

Disconnect connector on the lower PCB & pry and remove the earpiece (speaker).

Disconnect connectors and remove the coaxial cable.

Disconnect connectors on the lower PCB.

Remove the lower PCB.

Using a screwdriver (Phillips 1.5 mm PH000), unscrew 1 bolt in the PCB.

Disconnect connectors on the PCB and remove the main and front (selfie) cameras.

Disconnect connectors on the PCB.

Remove the PCB.

Pry and remove the earpiece (speaker).

Pry & remove the headphone vibration motor & jack/socket.
