Step 1.
Unscrew the screws
Using a screwdriver (Star Shape 0.8mm Pentalobe), unscrew 2 bolts on the end of the phone.
Step 2.
Remove the tray
Using the key tool, open the SIM card tray and remove it.
âš Warning!
Do not push too hard this may cause damage.
Step 3.
Open the back cover
Open the back cover.
Step 4.
Remove the bracket
Using a screwdriver (Phillips 1.5 mm PH000), unscrew 3 bolts and remove the brackets holding the connectors.
Step 5.
Disconnect the battery connector
Disconnect the battery connector.
âš Warning!
We strongly recommend disconnecting the connector to avoid a possible short circuit during disassembly.
Step 6.
Open the cover
Remove the cover hiding the screws.
Step 7.
Unscrew the screws
Using a screwdriver (Phillips 1.5 mm PH000), unscrew 8 bolts and remove three grounding lug washers.
Step 8.
Remove the loudspeaker
Pry and remove the buzzer (speaker) assembly.
Step 9.
Disconnect the connectors
Pry up the connectors.
Step 10.
Remove the sub-board
Remove the daughterboard with an inter-board cable.
Step 11.
Remove the battery
Remove the battery.
Step 12.
Remove the coaxial cable
Pry up the connector and remove the coaxial cable.
Step 13.
Disconnect the connector
Pry up the inter-board cable connector.
Step 14.
Remove the holder
Using a screwdriver (Phillips 1.5 mm PH000), unscrew 1 bolt and remove the bracket holding the camera connector.
Step 15.
Remove the front camera
Disconnect the connector on PCB, and remove the front (selfie) camera.
Step 16.
Unscrew the screws
Using a screwdriver (Phillips 1.5 mm PH000), unscrew 2 bolts in the PCB.
Step 17.
Remove the motherboard
Remove the PCB.
Step 18.
Remove the rear camera
Disconnect the connector on PCB, and remove the main camera.
