Step 1.
Open the back cover
Open the back cover.
Step 2.
Remove the battery
Lift and remove the battery.
Step 3.
Unscrew the screws
Using a screwdriver (Phillips 1.5 mm PH000), unscrew 9 short bolts.
Step 4.
Unscrew the screws
Using a screwdriver (Phillips 1.5 mm PH000), unscrew 6 long bolts.
Step 5.
Open the mid-frame
Pry and remove the middle frame.
Step 6.
Unscrew the screws
Using a screwdriver (Phillips 1.5 mm PH000), unscrew 2 bolts in the daughter board.
Step 7.
Unsolder the wires
Unsolder the wires of the buzzer (speaker).
Step 8.
Disconnect the connectors
Disconnect connectors on the daughterboard.
⚠ Warning!
One connector is inside.
Step 9.
Remove the sub-board
Remove the daughterboard, also known as sub-board.
Step 10.
Unscrew the screws
Using a screwdriver (Phillips 1.5 mm PH000), unscrew 2 bolts in the PCB.
Step 11.
Remove the front camera
Disconnect the connector on PCB, and remove the front (selfie) camera.
Step 12.
Disconnect the connectors
Disconnect connectors on the PCB.
Step 13.
Remove the motherboard
Remove the PCB.
Step 14.
Remove the rear camera
Disconnect the connector on PCB, and remove the main camera.
