Step 2. Remove the tray
First of all, we need to remove the card tray. To do this, we use a special tool.
We insert it into the hole and carefully push out the card tray. If the tray does not come out well, we can additionally use tweezers.
Step 3. Open the back cover
Then we need to heat the surface of the back cover to a temperature of approximately 70 degrees Celsius or 160 degrees Fahrenheit. For this we can use a heating mat or a hair dryer.
And after 5 to 7 minutes, we can move on to detaching the back cover. To detach the back cover, we use a thin plastic film. We insert it into the gap between the back cover and the middle cover and carefully run it along the edge, cutting off the adhesive base.
β οΈοΈ Please note that we have the camera cover coming separately from the back cover, so the back cover will be additionally taped around the camera cover.
β οΈοΈ Also please notice that we have a fingerprint sensor or side buttons may be located on the side, so there may be cables under the cover as well.
Step 4. Unscrew the screws
After that we move on to unscrewing the nine screws. For this we use a Phillips screwdriver of one and a half millimeters or Philips #000.
It is better to place the screws on a special surface in a certain order, so that we do not confuse anything when reassembling.
Step 5. Unscrew the screws
Using a screwdriver Phillips 1.5 mm (PH #000), unscrew the nine screws at the bottom.
Step 6. Open the middle cover
We can proceed to disconnect the middle cover. We also try to unclip a few clips with a thin plastic film and then we use a thicker tool.
We pass the tool along the edge, unclip the clips, thus detaching the middle cover.
β οΈοΈ As always, we need to be careful around the side buttons and the fingerprint sensor so as not to damage anything.
β οΈοΈ It is also necessary to be careful on the corners, because the cover is held very firmly on the corners.
β οΈοΈ And of course we need to be careful with the display edge.
Step 7. Disconnect the battery connector

Disconnect the battery connector as soon as you can. Use a non-metallic or plastic tool to avoid any damage.

βΉοΈοΈ The Oppo A55 CPH2325 model has a battery BLP805 with a capacity of 5000 mAh (also known as a rechargeable battery).

Step 8. Disconnect the connector
We disconnect the fingerprint sensor connector.
Actually, we can remove the middle cover, on which the contact pads are presented.
Step 9. Remove the loudspeaker
After that, we move on to detaching the speaker at the bottom. Carefully hook the edge, lift and remove the cover with the loudspeaker.
Step 10. Disconnect the connectors
After that we can disconnect the inter-board cable connector and the coaxial cable connector.
Disconnect the connector and release the coaxial cable itself from the clips securing it to the sub-board.
Step 11. Remove the daughterboard
Then we need to detach the sub-board. Find the right place where we can hook, gently lift and remove the sub-board.
We do it carefully, we don't need to force it, so that we don't accidentally damage anything.
And on the sub-board we have the charging port, microphone, headset port and other elements on the back side.
Step 12. Disconnect the connectors
We move on to disconnecting the connectors on the motherboard.
We disconnect the inter-board cable connector, coaxial cable connector and the display cable connector.
Step 13. Remove the cameras
Then we can detach the front camera, carefully hook the edge, lift it up.
We still need to peel off the copper protective heat dissipating foil. It is best to keep the protective foil and use it when reassembling.
And we need to detach the rear cameras.
β οΈοΈ It is better to hold the cameras by the base and it is important not to touch the lenses.
Step 14. Unscrew one screw
After that, we need to remove one screw that secures the motherboard. For this we use a one and a half millimeter Phillips screwdriver or a Philips #000.
Step 15. Remove the motherboard

Step 16. Remove the battery
And finally, we move on to detaching the battery.
Traditionally for OPPO, we have a green tab and a transparent cover that needs to be unfolded. And by the green tab, we need to gently pull upward to detach the battery.
So, we gently pull the tab upwards, thus removing the battery.
Under the battery there is a transparent protective coating that protects the inter-board cables.
Step 17. In the display frame remained
βΉοΈοΈ In the display frame remained: the earpiece speaker, vibration motor, and cables.
