Disassembly/Repair of the mobile device Samsung Galaxy A05 SM-A055 (Samsung Galaxy A05 SM-A055F, SM-A055F/DS, SM-A055M, SM-A055M/DS) with each step description and the required set of tools.

⚠️️ Before disassembling, do not forget to turn your phone off.

First of all, we need to remove the card tray.

To do this, we use a special tool, insert it into the hole and carefully push out the tray for memory cards and sim cards.

If the tray does not come out well, we can additionally use tweezers.

Next, we need to heat the surface of the back cover to approximately 70 degrees Celsius or 160 degrees Fahrenheit. For this we use a heating mat, you can use a hair dryer.

And after 5 to 7 minutes, we can move on to detach the back cover.

To remove the back cover, we will use a thin plastic film, but first we need to slightly lift the back cover, because we have a back cover slightly recessed in the middle cover. So, we carefully with a thin tool pick up the cover, create a small gap, and in this hole insert the plastic film, run it along the edge, cutting off the adhesive backing.

We need to be careful around the side buttons and we need to be careful around the cameras so we don't accidentally damage anything.

After that we need to remove the ten screws at the top.

For this we use a one and a half millimeter Phillips screwdriver or Philips #000.

It looks like all the screws are the same, but still, we recommend that you place them on a certain surface in an easy to remember order so that you don't confuse anything when reassembling.

And we need to unscrew the seven screws at the bottom. For this we use a 1.5 millimeter Phillips screwdriver or Philips #000.

So, then we need to detach the middle cover.

First, we use a thin plastic film, insert it into the gap between the middle cover and the display frame near the card tray hole and then we use a thicker tool and run it along the edge to detach the clips.

We need to be really careful on the corners, because in these places the cover is held especially tightly.

The cover has the contact pads and the antenna transmission lines.

After that, with a non-metal tool, we disconnect the battery connector.

ℹ️️ The Samsung Galaxy A05 model has a battery WT-S-N28 with a capacity of 5000 mAh (also known as a rechargeable battery).

And we move on to detach the block with the loudspeaker at the bottom.

We find the right place where we can hook up and detach the speaker unit.

After that, we need to disconnect the coaxial cable connectors on both boards, and remove the coaxial cable itself.

We disconnect the inter-board cable connector.

And we can detach the sub-board.

The sub-board is easy enough to remove.

On the sub-board we have the charging port, the microphone, and the headset jack port.

Then we disconnect the display connector and the inter-board cable connector.

We can also detach the front camera and detach the two rear cameras.

We disconnect the connectors, gently pull out and remove the rear cameras.

After that, we can detach the motherboard.

Find the right place where we can hook, pry and gently lift the motherboard.

It's not always possible to do this the first time so as I said earlier, we need to find the right place where we can pick it up.

And finally, we move on to detaching the battery.

As we can see, in our case we have two transparent tabs with the letter A on the edges and a blue tab in the middle that needs to be unwrapped. And as we can read from the description, we need to pull the middle blue tab upwards.

That's what we're going to do.

So, we need to unwrap the transparent tabs on the edges as carefully as possible. We need to bend the display cable and press it and gently pull the blue tab upwards to detach the battery.

For some reason, it is in cases with Samsung smartphones to detach the battery in this way is always not quite easy.
