Step 1.
Open the back cover
Open the back cover.
Step 2.
Remove the loudspeaker
Pry and remove the buzzer (speaker).
Step 3.
Disconnect the battery connector
Disconnect the battery connector.
âš Warning!
We strongly recommend disconnecting the connector to avoid a possible short circuit during disassembly.
Step 4.
Remove the interconnect cable
Pry up the connector on PCB and remove inter-board cable and the cable with a microphone.
Step 5.
Disconnect the connectors
Disconnect connectors on the PCB.
Step 6.
Unscrew the screws
Using a screwdriver (Phillips 1.5 mm PH000), unscrew 6 bolts.
Step 7.
Remove the front camera
Disconnect connectors on PCB and remove the front (selfie) camera and headphone jack/socket.
Step 8.
Remove the motherboard
Remove the PCB.
Step 9.
Remove the vibration motor
Pry and remove the earpiece (speaker) and vibration motor.
Step 10.
Open the display module
Separate the display module from the frame.
