Disassembly/Repair of the mobile device Xiaomi 11T (Xiaomi 11T 21081111RG) with each step description and the required set of tools.

⚠️️ Before disassembling, do not forget to turn your phone off.

First of all, we need to remove the card tray. To do this, we use a special tool. Carefully insert it into the hole and push out the card tray.

By the way, it is located at the bottom.

We need to heat the surface of the back cover to a temperature of approximately 70 degrees Celsius or 160° F.

To do this, we use a heating mat - you can use a hair dryer.

And after 5 to 7 minutes, we can move on to detach the back cover. To detach the back cover, we use a thin plastic film.

We carefully insert it into the gap between the back cover and the middle cover, and run it along cutting off the adhesive base.

Then we proceed to unscrew the nine screws at the top for this we use a one and a half millimeter Phillips screwdriver or Philips #000.

⚠️️ We unscrew the screws and place them on a special surface.

After that we need to detach the cover with antenna transmission lines that hides motherboard. For this we use a non-metallic tool and pry up the cover in the right place.

⚠️️ Please note that our flashlight element is located on the cover and is connected by a connector to the motherboard in the middle.

And with a non-metallic tool we disconnect the two battery connectors. Use a non-metallic or plastic tool to avoid any damage.

ℹ️️ The Xiaomi 11T 21081111RG model has a battery BM59 with a capacity of 5000 mAh (also known as a rechargeable battery).

We then proceed to unscrew the eight screws at the bottom. For this we also use a 1.5 mm Phillips screwdriver or a Philips #000.

⚠️️ It is also better to place the screws on a special surface, in a certain order, just in case.

After removing the screws, we need to detach the cover with the loudspeaker.

We carefully hook the cover by the edge. We see that we also have a small antenna board on the cover. To remove the cover, we need to disconnect the coaxial cable.

We disconnect the coaxial cable connector on the motherboard, release the cable and remove the cover with the loudspeaker, the small board and the coaxial cable.

After that we move on to disconnecting the connectors for the side buttons, display, and coaxial cable on the motherboard.

We disconnect the inter-board cable connectors on both boards and remove the inter-board cable.

⚠️️ On the inter-board cable, the arrow shows the direction to the motherboard.

We move on to disconnecting the connectors on the sub-board.

Disconnect the coaxial cable connector and release the cable itself so that it doesn't get in our way. Disconnect the display connector, disconnect the inter-board cable connector.

And we can try to detach the sub-board. We need to find the right place where we can gently pry, lift and remove the sub-board. It's not always easy or obvious to find the right place, so we try prying the sub-board in different places.

On the sub-board we have the charging port, microphone under the shield, card connector and other elements on the back side.

We disconnect the connector and lift the front camera. After that we peel off the copper heat dissipating foil.

We can also detach the rear cameras. We carefully hook the connectors and lift the cameras up.

We always have to hold the cameras slightly so that they don't fall out.

The cameras may be glued, so we need to be really careful.

If we can't detach the rear camera because it may be firmly glued to the display frame - we need to disconnect the connector, and detach the camera after removing the motherboard.

Carefully remove the printed circuit board. There is no need to use a lever or try to reach the circuit board by force. Make sure that nothing is getting in the way or holding the circuit board.

The motherboard, also, may be attached with attachments like latches or hooks, be careful.

⚠️️ Do not bend the circuit board when removing it or push tools under it. Unbeknownst to yourself, you can damage components or cables from the inside.

We move on to detach the battery.

We traditionally have two brown tabs with the letters A and B, which we need to unfold, read the description, and accordingly repeat everything that is specified in the description.

So, we unwrap the tabs. As we can understand from the description, we have to unfold the tab in the middle and the wide tab, which we have on the edges, pull it up and remove the battery.

Under the battery we have a transparent protective coating that protects the cables.

Well, we can also detach the earpiece speaker.

First, we need to detach or unglue the contact pad. We gently hook it on the base, unglue the pad and try to lift and remove the speaker. We need to find the right place where we can hook, gently lift and remove the speaker.

The earpiece speaker is also glued in place.
