Disassembly/Repair of the mobile device Xiaomi Black Shark 4 Pro with each step description and the required set of tools.

Step 2. Remove the tray
Use the ejection tool (aka Needle) or Paperclip. Push the tip all the way into the hole until the tray ejects, and then pull the tray of SIM cards out.
â ī¸ī¸ Pay attention! The tool must be inserted into a hole on the edge of the phone's housing. Do not press too hard. It may break the tray eject mechanism.
Step 3. Open the back cover
After that, we need to heat the surface of the back cover to a temperature of about 70° C or 160° F. For this we use a heating mat, you can use a hair dryer.
And after 5-7 minutes we can proceed to detach the back cover.
To remove the back cover we will use a plastic film, this is the protective film from the new display. We insert it into the gap between the middle cover and the back cover and run it lengthwise. We can notice that the cover of the cameras is detached separately from the back cover and therefore the back cover is glued around the cover of the cameras.
We only have a gasket on the cover.
Step 4. Unscrew the screws
Using a screwdriver Phillips 1.5 mm (PH#000), unscrew the six screws.
If the screws are different: âšī¸ī¸ Be sure to note the location of the screws before disassembling. When assembling the device, screwing the screw in the wrong place may damage the device or its parts. To avoid damage, the removed screws and individual pieces (as gaskets or brackets) must be laid out in the appropriate order, or the screws and their holes in the phone must be marked with colored markers.
Step 5. Unscrew one screw
Using a screwdriver Phillips 1.5 mm (PH#000), unscrew one long black screw.
Step 6. Open the cover
Pry over the edges. Move an opening tool along the edge detach the clips and remove the cover with transmission lines and pads for antenna.
Step 8. Disconnect the battery connector
Disconnect the two connectors of the battery as soon as you can. Use a non-metallic or plastic tool to avoid any damage.
âšī¸ī¸ The Xiaomi Black Shark 4 Pro model has a battery BS08FA with a capacity of 2250 mAh each tank.
Step 9. Unscrew one screw
Using a screwdriver Phillips 1.5 mm (PH#000), unscrew one screw securing the cover of the camera.
Step 10. Unscrew the screws
Using a screwdriver Phillips 1.5 mm (PH#000), unscrew the two screws securing the cover with a loudspeaker.
Step 11. Remove the frame of cameras
Pry over the edge and remove the cover with the flashlight elements.
Step 12. Unscrew one screw
We unscrew one screw, using a screwdriver Phillips 1.5 mm (PH#000) which was hiding the cover of cameras and which holds the cover with antennas and upper loudspeaker.
Step 13. Remove the loudspeaker
We can pry up by the edge and detach the cover with the loudspeaker.
Step 14. Unscrew the screws
Using a screwdriver Phillips 1.5 mm (PH#000), unscrew the seven screws at the bottom.
Step 16. Disconnect the connectors
Disconnect the connectors of the inter-board cable, fingerprint sensor cable, two coaxial cables and release the cables themselves from the clips on the sub-board.
Step 17. Unscrew one screw
We need to unscrew one screw securing the sub-board. The screwdriver is the same 1.5 mm Phillips (#000).
Step 18. Remove the daughterboard
Remove the sub-board. It may be glued to the frame or attached with attachments like latches or hooks, so be careful.
âšī¸ī¸ The sub-board contains a microphone, spring contacts for the speaker, vibration motor, and an antenna unit.
â ī¸ī¸ It is not necessary to insert the tool underneath when removing the sub-board. Internal components could be damaged.
Step 19. Remove the cameras
We can now detach the cameras. The cameras are slightly glued. We have to be careful.
Traditionally, the front camera is glued to the copper heat dissipating foil, which we need to peel off. It is better to hold the cameras by the body so that they do not fly out when detaching.
Step 20. Disconnect the connectors
Let's move on to disconnecting the connectors for the fingerprint sensor, display connector, charging port connector, inter-board cable connector, coaxial cable connector and release the cable itself from the clips securing it to the motherboard. We also, can disconnect the two connectors of the other two coaxial cables.
Step 21. Unscrew one screw
Using a Philips 1.5 mm screwdriver (PH#000), unscrew one screw securing the motherboard.
Step 22. Remove the motherboard
Carefully remove the printed circuit board. There is no need to use a lever or try to reach the circuit board by force. Make sure that nothing is getting in the way or holding the circuit board.
The motherboard, also, may be attached with attachments like latches or hooks, be careful.
â ī¸ī¸ Do not bend the circuit board when removing it or push tools under it. Unbeknownst to yourself, you can damage components or cables from the inside.
Step 23. Remove the battery
Finally, we move on to detaching the battery.
We need to unwrap the brown tabs A and B and read which one we need to pull.
And as it becomes clear to us from the description, we need to pull the wide tab A, but the tab B we need to turn aside so that it doesn't get in our way. Carefully with one hand we hold the display frame and with other hand we pull the tab upwards.
Step 24. In the display frame remained
âšī¸ī¸ In the display frame remained: the earpiece speaker, charging port, vibration motor, front camera, three coaxial cables.
