Hi, the IC is not located on the daughterboard. I don't know your case but - In 90% of malfunctions related to sound problems, the fault is inside the headphone jack port.
@VRM24.com I accidentally destroyed my sound ic becouse I gave 12volt line in the jack and now in my phone does not work the right channel of the headphones, however the speakers work both.
