Hi, first of all congratulations for the videos, great photography. I wanted to ask you in detail: apart from replacing the ENTIRE assembly (display-touch-frame), if only the frame + touch were found, how would the separation from the original display happen? Is it fitted/screwed to the frame or glued (and therefore needs to be unglued thermally)? Thank you very much
If you find yourself with only the display+LCD without frame (the one that allows fitting with the housing), I strongly advise against gluing the old frame to the glass+LCD and then inserting everything into the housing because, as in my case, if the housing is slightly damaged (and this almost always happens when the glass breaks), when trying to fit it, the new glass breaks.
It is better, but this is always in general, to mount the frame onto the housing by fitting it and only at the end glue the glass to the frame (the space is even excessive and there is no need to force anything).
Very nice and clear video but unfortunately misleading precisely because of this problem: the installation is not as simple as it seems even if, as in my case, you use a great deal of patience.
The frame around can be found, it's not expensive if you mean the frame as the plastic part that is glued to the glass.. If you mean the frame as the body. Of the tablet it's a whole other, much more complex matter
Hi, it depends on how you (or specialist) perform this replacement. I truly believe that a well-done job will lead to a good result. For sure, need to be skilled and have some tools.
