What is the black layer behind the LCD (which can be seen through squares left for SoC heatsinks). Is it a graphite cooling shield just like it is in XZ Premium?
Yes. The black layer, that can be seen through the square holes, covers the whole back of LCD module (between the LCD and the metal middle frame). I just wonder if it is an electrical insulation layer, or a thin graphite cooling shield (just as in XZ Premium)
its all about knowing where the glue and ribbons are, fixing the Chinese stuff you know its a gamble but you have to try, these videos give you the confidence so you know where you can and can not apply force.
