my phone has slight water damage. I didn't drop it in water but water from my hands maybe got inside the phone. The phone turns on but there is lines that appear and disappear on the screen. Is there anything I can do?
My HTC Desire 626 is water damaged and the battery still works and the phone vibrates when I turn it on, but the screen is not working; it does not turn on. Will doing this make the screen work?
Hello, in the begining you have to turn off the phone, is really important disconnect the battery! after that you must disassemble phone and clean up a motherboard (and all connectors) from rust. It help to detect volume of damages, sometimes it helps put an end to the reasons for fault
vremonte24.ru I forgot to add, it's been four months since the incident, and only now has the phone had started to show some signs of life (vibrations and charging indicator blinking). So if I purchased a new digitizer and follow your steps do you think the phone will be functional again?
When you have cleaned MB up try to turn on the phone. If you have an opportunity to use the screen without acquisition one - do it for checking it out.
