suddenly my mobile hang at MI logo and after some time it went permanently dead. Not even any charging indicator. However I found when charger is connected 3.8V near the battery contact points with or without battery. Do not respond to power ON button too. Any idea where to look for. I completely removed all parts and restored it back but no change.
There is a widespread problem with a large number of Xiaomi models. The processor is dying. But you need to be sure about that. You have to charge the battery separately from the device. Try to update/renew firmware. It will make the situation clearer what the problem is, and what we should do next.
