Apple iPhone 11 Pro

Came across an iPhone for repair with a damaged camera sensor. Usually, when the sensor is damaged, the camera doesn't work at all, but here it was just cracked and still functional!

Interesting effect when taking photos 😂

1️⃣ Disassembling the phone. On the portrait camera, there's a dent from an impact, and it needs to be replaced.

There are two camera modules: one has an issue with the portrait camera, and the other has an issue with the main camera.

Let's try to combine two partially working cameras into one fully functional one 😁

2️⃣ Covering the working cameras with special tape to protect them from dust and prevent scratching the lenses.

3️⃣ Cutting out the working main camera from its metal frame.

4️⃣ Removing the non-working main camera from the other module.

5️⃣ Assembling the working cameras into one module.

The working camera module and the non-working leftovers 😂

6️⃣ Reassembling the phone and testing the functionality of the cameras in all modes.

Everything works perfectly, focusing and stabilization on all cameras!

Out of curiosity, opened the portrait camera with the cracked sensor, and it became clear where the funny effect during shooting comes from 😀
