Disassembly/Repair of the mobile device Samsung Galaxy A73 SM-A736 with each step description and the required set of tools.

⚠️️ Before disassembling, do not forget to turn your phone off.

At the very beginning we need to remove the card tray for this we take a special tool, insert it into the hole and push out the combined tray for sim and memory cards.

⚠️️ Pay attention! The tool must be inserted into a hole on the edge of the phone's housing. Do not press too hard. It may break the tray eject mechanism.

We need to heat the surface of the back cover to a temperature of about 70 ° C or 160 ° F.

To detach the back cover, we will use a plastic film, it is a protective film from a new display or a film from the stationery store.

We insert it into the hole between the middle cover and the back cover and run it along the joints, thus detaching the back cover.

⚠️️ We always have to be careful around the cameras, so as not to damage the lenses.

⚠️️ And we also need to be careful around the side buttons, because there can be cables. 

On the back cover we have the flashlight elements and the gasket.

Using a 1.5mm Phillips screwdriver or #000 - we unscrew the eight screws.

It looks like all the screws are the same, but we still recommend placing them on a special surface in an easy to remember order for reassembly.

Using a non-metal tool, we have to detach the cover hiding the motherboard. The antenna transmission lines are located on the cover.

Disconnect the battery connector as soon as you can. Use a non-metallic or plastic tool to avoid any damage.

ℹ️️ The Samsung Galaxy A73 SM-A736 model has a battery EB-BM526ABS with a capacity of 5000 mAh (also known as a rechargeable battery).

And we move on to unscrewing the eight screws at the bottom. The screwdriver is the same 1.5mm Phillips. It looks like the screws are all the same here as well. The screws hold the sub-board and the cover with the speaker.

We need to detach the cover with the speaker. We find the right and convenient place where we can hook the cover and gently lift and remove the cover with a loudspeaker.

Disconnect the connectors: to the display, to the sub-board and the connector to the motherboard. And after that we can remove the inter-board cable.

Disconnect the coaxial cable connectors on both circuit boards and remove the coaxial cables. We carefully pick up the connectors and remove the cables.

Disconnect the connector of the fingerprint sensor on the sub-board.

Using a screwdriver Phillips 1.5 mm (PH#000), unscrew one screw securing the sub-board.

We can detach the sub-board. The sub-board is slightly recessed into the display frame.

Carefully hook the edge in the right place and pull it out.

On the sub-board we have a charging port, microphone, and other elements on the back side.

Using a screwdriver Phillips 1.5 mm (PH#000), unscrew one screw securing the motherboard.

We move on to detach the cameras at the top. First, we detach the rear cameras. Carefully hold the cameras by their body so that they do not fly out and do not damage the lenses.

And also remove the front camera.

Carefully remove the printed circuit board. There is no need to use a lever or try to reach the circuit board by force. Make sure that nothing is getting in the way or holding the circuit board.

The motherboard, also, may be attached with attachments like latches or hooks, be careful.

⚠️️ Do not bend the circuit board when removing it or push tools under it. Unbeknownst to yourself, you can damage components or cables from the inside.

Then we detach the remaining rear cameras.

It's better to hold the cameras so that they don't fall out and damage the lenses or so that dust doesn't get in there.

In the frame of the display remain: the speaker, the battery, and at the bottom: the vibration motor and fingerprint sensor.
