Step 3. Open the back cover

We need to heat the surface of the back cover to a temperature of about 70 ° C or 160 ° F.

Step 4. Unscrew the screws

Using a 1.5mm Phillips screwdriver or #000 - we unscrew the eight screws.

Step 5. Open the cover

Using a non-metal tool, we have to detach the cover hiding the motherboard. The antenna transmission lines are located on the cover.

Step 10. Remove the coaxial cable

Using a screwdriver Phillips 1.5 mm (PH#000), unscrew one screw securing the sub-board.

Step 13. Remove the daughterboard

We can detach the sub-board. The sub-board is slightly recessed into the display frame.

Carefully hook the edge in the right place and pull it out.

On the sub-board we have a charging port, microphone, and other elements on the back side.

Step 15. Remove the cameras

Step 16. Remove the motherboard
