Step 1.
Open the back cover
Open the back cover.
Step 2.
Disconnect the battery connector
Disconnect the battery connector. The battery model of Samsung Galaxy Tab S 8.4'' is EB-BT705FBE.
⚠ Warning!
We strongly recommend disconnecting the connector to avoid a possible short circuit during disassembly.
Step 3.
Unscrew the screws
Using a screwdriver (Phillips 1.5 mm PH000), unscrew 4 screws.
Step 4.
Remove the charging port
Pry up the connector and remove the cable with a microphone and charging port.
Step 5.
Remove the cameras
Disconnect connectors on PCB and remove the main and front (selfie) cameras.
Step 6.
Unscrew the screws
Using a screwdriver (Phillips 1.5 mm PH000), unscrew 2 screws in the PCB.
Step 7.
Disconnect the connectors
Disconnect connectors on the PCB.
Step 8.
Remove the motherboard
Remove the PCB.
Step 9.
Remove the loudspeaker
Remove the assemblies of loudspeakers with a vibration motor and a headphone jack/socket.
Step 10.
In the display frame remained
Parts are in the frame of the display module.
