Step 2. Remove the tray
Use the ejection tool (aka Needle) or Paperclip. Push the tip all the way into the hole until the tray ejects, and then pull the card tray out.

Step 3. Open the back cover
We preheated the back cover to 50 degrees Celsius or 120 degrees Fahrenheit to make it easier to detach.
We use a thin plastic film, carefully insert it into the gap between the back cover and the middle cover and run it around the edge to detach the back cover.
Very carefully we run the tool in the area of the side button cable with the fingerprint sensor, because from it goes the cable to the circuit board, and it may be damaged. That's why we minimize the film in this place.

Step 4. Unscrew one screw
Using a screwdriver Phillips 1.5 mm (PH #000), unscrew the one small screw.
It is important not to screw a long screw in this place, because it through the screw we call this screw – barrel, we will screw directly into the board, pierce the circuit board, which will lead to serious damage.
And, probably, the phone will stop working.

Step 5. Unscrew the screws
And we proceed to unscrewing the other ten screws, for this we use a Philips #000 or 1.5mm Phillips screwdriver.

Step 6. Open the cover
Pry along the edges. Move an opening tool along the edge detach the clips and remove the cover with transmission lines and pads for antenna.

Step 7. Disconnect the battery connector
Disconnect the battery connector as soon as you can. Use a non-metallic or plastic tool to avoid any damage.
âšī¸ī¸ The Honor X8b LLY-LX1 model has a battery HB416594EGW with a capacity of 4500 mAh (also known as a rechargeable battery).

Step 8. Disconnect the connectors
We disconnect the two connectors of the two coaxial cables, the cable to the sub-board, connector to the fingerprint sensor, and the cable connector to the display.

Step 9. Unscrew the screws
And we move on to disassembling the bottom part.
Using a Philips 1.5 mm screwdriver (PH #000), unscrew the seven screws.
In the latest Honor phones now began to install non-magnetic screws, they cannot be removed with a screwdriver and we need to additionally use tweezers.

Step 13. Remove the daughterboard
Remove the sub-board. It may be glued to the frame or attached with attachments like latches or hooks, so be careful.
âšī¸ī¸ The sub-board contains a charging port (Micro USB), microphone, spring contacts for the speaker, vibration motor, and an antenna unit.

Step 14. Remove the cameras
We can also cover the cameras so that nothing gets damaged or dust gets on the cameras.
We disconnect connectors and remove the cameras.

Step 15. Unscrew one screw
Using a Philips 1.5 mm screwdriver (PH #000), unscrew one screw securing the motherboard.
It is important to note that we should never pull anything in phones, if something does not go or interferes, it is better to check everything.

Step 16. Remove the motherboard
Carefully remove the printed circuit board. There is no need to use a lever or try to reach the circuit board by force. Make sure that nothing is getting in the way or holding the circuit board.
The motherboard, also, may be attached with attachments like latches or hooks, be careful.
â ī¸ī¸ Do not bend the circuit board when removing it or push tools under it. Unbeknownst to yourself, you can damage components or cables from the inside.

Step 17. In the display frame remained
âšī¸ī¸ In the display frame remained: the earpiece speaker, battery, vibration motor, and cables.
