Step 1.
Using the key tool, open the SIM and Micro SD cards tray and remove it.
⚠ Warning!
Do not push too hard this may cause damage.
Step 2.
Separate the display module from the housing and turn it over.
⚠ Warning!
For careful separation, we recommend using a heat gun. At the same time, it is necessary to heat carefully in order, not to damage the surface of the device.
Step 3.
Using a screwdriver (Phillips 1.5 mm PH000), unscrew 1 screw and remove the bracket holding the display module connector.
Step 4.
Pry up the connector and remove the display module.
Step 5.
Using a screwdriver (Phillips 1.5 mm PH000), unscrew 2 screws.
Step 6.
Remove the bracket.
Step 7.
Disconnect the battery connector. The battery model of Huawei MediaPad M3 Lite 8'' is HB3080G1EBW.
⚠ Warning!
We strongly recommend disconnecting the connector to avoid a possible short circuit during disassembly.
Step 8.
Using a screwdriver (Phillips 1.5 mm PH000), unscrew 5 screws.
Step 9.
Remove the cover with a loudspeaker.
Step 10.
Using a screwdriver (Phillips 1.5 mm PH000), unscrew 1 screw.
Step 11.
Remove the bracket holding the charging port.
Step 12.
Using a screwdriver (Phillips 1.5 mm PH000), unscrew 6 screws.
Step 13.
Remove the cover with a loudspeaker.
Step 14.
Using a screwdriver (Phillips 1.5 mm PH000), unscrew 1 screw and remove the bracket holding the main camera connector.
Step 15.
Disconnect the connector on PCB, and remove the main camera.
Step 16.
Disconnect connectors on the sub-board.
⚠ Warning!
The coaxial cable connector is inside.
Step 17.
Remove the daughterboard, also known as sub-board.
Step 18.
Pry up the connector, peel back the protective layer and remove the coaxial cable.
Step 19.
Using a screwdriver (Phillips 1.5 mm PH000), unscrew 5 screws in the PCB.
Step 20.
Disconnect the coaxial cable connectors.
Step 21.
Remove the PCB.
Step 22.
Disconnect the connector on PCB, and remove the front (selfie) camera.
