Disassembly/Repair of the mobile device Huawei Nova 10 SE (Huawei Nova 10 SE BNE-LX1) with each step description and the required set of tools.

⚠️️ Before disassembling, do not forget to turn your phone off.

First of all, we need to remove the card tray, for this we use a special tool, insert it into the hole and carefully push out the card tray.

⚠️️ If the tray does not come out well, we can additionally use tweezers.

We need to heat the surface of the back cover to a temperature of approximately 70 degrees Celsius or 160° Fahrenheit. For this we use a heating mat, you can use a hair dryer.

And after 5 to 7 minutes, we can move on to detaching the back cover. To detach the back cover, we first use a thin metal tool, because we have the cover slightly recessed. We create a small gap between the back cover and the middle cover, insert a thin plastic film and then using the thin plastic film we will detach the back cover.

Carefully go over the edge, cut off the adhesive base. We always need to be careful in the area of the side buttons and in the area of the cameras, so as not to accidentally damage the cables or not to damage the camera lenses.

The section that protects the cameras is more rigid. It is made with specific glasses and it has a small plastic area for which we can carefully use a thin tool to pry and lift this part to unglue it.

⚠️️ It is not necessary to use force. We have to be as careful as possible so that we don't accidentally damage anything.

After that, we move on to unscrewing the twelve screws. For this we use a one and a half millimeter Phillips screwdriver or a Philips #000.

⚠️️ The screws are badly magnetized. The screws remain in the cover. Therefore, we will need tweezers to remove the screws.

We can move on to detaching the cover at the top.

We find the right place where we can gently hook and gently rock the cover and gently detach it.

Disconnect the battery connectors as soon as you can. Use a non-metallic or plastic tool to avoid any damage.

ℹ️️ The Huawei Nova 10 SE BNE-LX1 model has a battery HB456493EGW with a capacity of 4500 mAh (also known as a rechargeable battery).

Using a screwdriver Phillips 1.5 mm (PH #000), unscrew the six screws.

Carefully remove the bracket holding the coaxial cable connector.

We need to disconnect the inter-board cable connector with the bracket.

Also we need to disconnect the coaxial cable connector and release the cable itself from its fixing groove in the display frame and cover.

We need to detach the cover with the speaker.

As always, it's important to find the right place. Looking for the right place where we can gently pry, lift and detach the cover.

Please note that this cover is extremely well glued to the display frame. The part that's on the sub-board side is not so difficult to detach, and the part that's on the display frame side, it's firmly glued.

We need to disconnect the second coaxial cable connector.

Using a screwdriver Phillips 1.5 mm (PH #000), unscrew the one screw securing the sub-board.

Now we can detach the sub-board. Gently hook the edge and pull out the sub-board.

On the board we have the charging port, the microphone, and the card connector on the inside.

We need to disconnect the connectors on the motherboard.

We disconnect the connectors of the coaxial cables. Gently bend them apart.

Disconnect the inter-board cable connector. Disconnect the connector of the display cable. We also need to disconnect the connector to the side buttons.

And we need to detach the front and rear cameras.

⚠️️ Please note the rear cameras may be glued to the motherboard or display frame.

Using a screwdriver Phillips 1.5 mm (PH #000), unscrew the two screws securing the motherboard.

After we have disconnected everything, we need to detach the motherboard.

We also find the right place to carefully hook, lift and remove the motherboard.

⚠️️ Please note that the motherboard from the back side may be held by thermal paste.

We move on to detach the battery.

Traditionally for Huawei we have three brown tabs with the numbers 1, 2 and 3. We need to turn these brown tabs to the side.

The tabs that are on the edges need to be turned to the side as much as possible, and the tab that is in the middle needs to be gently pulled upwards to detach the battery.

So, we carefully unfold the tabs, so that they do not prevent us from detaching the battery and carefully pull the tab, which is in the middle, to remove the battery.

Under the battery we have an adhesive protective coating, which protects the inter-board cable.

ℹ️️ In the display frame remained: the earpiece speaker, vibration motor and cables.
