Disassembly/Repair of the mobile device Realme 9 Pro (Realme 9 Pro RMX3471) with each step description and the required set of tools.

⚠️️ Before disassembling, do not forget to turn your phone off.

Use the ejection tool (aka Needle) or Paperclip. Push the tip all the way into the hole until the tray ejects, and then pull the tray of SIM cards out.

⚠️️ Pay attention! The tool must be inserted into a hole on the edge of the phone's housing. Do not press too hard. It may break the tray eject mechanism.

We need to heat the surface of the back cover to a temperature of about 70 ° C or 160 ° F. For this we use a heating mat you can use a hair dryer.

And after 5-7 minutes we can proceed to disassembly. To remove the back cover we will use a plastic film, this is the protective film from the new display. We insert it into the gap between the middle cover and the back cover and run it lengthwise.

⚠️️ We should always be careful around the side buttons, because in this area there may be cables and they can be damaged.

⚠️️ We also have to be careful around the cameras so we don't damage the lenses.

Using a screwdriver Phillips 1.5 mm (PH#000), unscrew the seventeen screws.

Then, using a thin plastic tool or plastic film, we detach the middle cover. We put the film into the gap in the area of the cards tray hole and gently run it along it, detaching the clips.

We need, as always, to be careful in the area of the side buttons, because they are physically located there and we need to be careful on the corners, because the cover is firmly held on the corners.

We have contact pads and antenna tramsmision lines on the cover.

Disconnect the battery connector as soon as you can. Use a non-metallic or plastic tool to avoid any damage.

ℹ️️ The Realme 9 Pro RMX3471 model has a battery BLP837 with a capacity of 4500 mAh (also known as a rechargeable battery).

Carefully unwrap the protective coating and disconnect the coaxial cable connector.

Also we have to release its cable from the recess in the display frame and cover with speaker and bend the cable to the side.

Pry over the edge and remove the cover with a loudspeaker.

Disconnect the coaxial cable connector, fingerprint sensor cable connector, connector to the display, and two connectors of the two inter-board cables.

⚠️️ Do not pull on the cable or pry it with a sharp tool, the connectors are pretty weak and break easily, or the cable falls out of the end (lug).

Remove the sub-board. It may be glued to the frame or attached with attachments like latches or hooks, so be careful.

ℹ️️ The sub-board contains a charging port (Micro-USB), microphone, headphone jack port, spring contacts for the speaker, vibration motor, and an antenna unit.

⚠️️ It is not necessary to insert the tool underneath when removing the sub-board. Internal components could be damaged.

And we move on to detaching the front camera. The camera is traditionally glued to copper heat dissipating foil.

Then we disconnect the rear cameras, which are glued to the motherboard.

The big camera is firmly glued to the display frame, so we need to carefully pry the camera to see how the camera is glued and choose the right tool to remove it.

Then we disconnect the two connectors of the two inter-board cables. And we detach the two connectors of the two coaxial cables and release the cables from the clips securing them.

Carefully remove the printed circuit board. There is no need to use a lever or try to reach the circuit board by force. Make sure that nothing is getting in the way or holding the circuit board.

The motherboard, also, may be attached with attachments like latches or hooks, be careful.

⚠️️ Do not bend the circuit board when removing it or push tools under it. Unbeknownst to yourself, you can damage components or cables from the inside.

Finally we move on to detaching the battery. We need to unwrap the transparent coating and the green tab. Then we have to hold the display frame with one hand and with the other hand we have to gently pull the green tab upwards.

Under the battery beneath the transparent coating we can see that there are two inter-board cables.

ℹ️️ In the display frame remained: the earpiece speaker, fingerprint sensor, vibration motor, and two coaxial cables.
