Disassembly/Repair of the mobile device Xiaomi 13 (Xiaomi 13 2211133G) with each step description and the required set of tools.

Step 2. Remove the tray
First of all, we need to remove the card tray. To do this, we use a special tool. We insert it into the hole and carefully push out the card tray.
Step 3. Open the back cover
We need to heat the surface of the back cover to a temperature of approximately 70° C or 160° F. For this we use a heating mat, you can use a hair dryer.
And after 5 to 7 minutes, we can move on to detach the back cover.
To detach the back cover, we use a thin plastic film. This film can be a protective film from a new display or a film from a stationery store.
We carefully insert it into the gap between the back cover and the middle cover and gently run it lengthwise, along the edge, cutting off the adhesive base.
â ī¸ī¸ We always need to be careful around the side buttons, as the cables may be located there.
â ī¸ī¸ And we also need to be careful around the cameras, so as not to damage the lenses.
Step 4. Unscrew the screws
We move on to unscrewing the six long black screws on the top part.
For this we use a 1.5-millimeter Phillips screwdriver or Philips #000.
Step 5. Unscrew the screws
Using a screwdriver Phillips 1.5 mm (PH #000), unscrew the five silver screws.
If the screws are different: âšī¸ī¸ Be sure to note the location of the screws before disassembling. When assembling the device, screwing the screw in the wrong place may damage the device or its parts. To avoid damage, the removed screws and individual pieces (as gaskets or brackets) must be laid out in the appropriate order, or the screws and their holes in the phone must be marked with colored markers.
Step 6. Open the cover
After that we can detach the cover of the top part. We have the cover with the flashlight and contact pads, antenna tracks and of course the NFC tab.
Step 7. Disconnect the connector
As we can notice, under the cover we have the flashlight cable, the connector of which we need to disconnect.
Step 8. Disconnect the battery connector
Then we move on to disconnecting the two battery connectors. On the connectors, by the way, it is indicated that connector 1 and connector 2 belong to the battery.
âšī¸ī¸ The Xiaomi 13 2211133G model has a battery BP4G with a capacity of 4500 mAh (also known as a rechargeable battery).
Step 9. Unscrew the screws
Using a Philips 1.5 mm screwdriver (PH #000), unscrew three short silver screws.
We also use tweezers to take out the stuck screws, because the screws are not well magnetic and are extremely difficult to pull out.
Step 10. Unscrew the screws
Using a Philips 1.5 mm screwdriver (PH #000), unscrew the three long silver screws.
Step 11. Remove the loudspeaker
Next, we need to detach the cover with the speaker. Before we detach the cover, we need to release the coaxial cable that is located in the indentation on the cover where the loudspeaker is located.
We release the cable and carefully remove the cover with the loudspeaker.
Step 12. Disconnect the connectors
We need to disconnect the connectors on the sub-board.
We disconnect the inter-board cable connector, the fingerprint sensor connector, the coaxial cable connector, another inter-board cable connector, the display connector.
Step 13. Remove the daughterboard
And we can detach the sub-board. The sub-board we have is slightly recessed.
As usual we need to find the right place where we can hook and remove the sub-board. The sub-board is held in place by plastic clips or hooks.
So, we find the right place, detach the board, make sure nothing is in the way and carefully remove it.
On the sub-board we have the charging port, the microphone under the shield and the card connector.
Step 14. Remove the small board
And we can detach the small antenna board. We find the right place where we can carefully hook, lift and remove the small board.
Step 15. Disconnect the connector
Then we turn the small board over accordingly, disconnect the coaxial cable connector, release the cable itself from the clip securing it to the small board, and we can carefully remove the small antenna board.
Step 16. Disconnect the connectors
Then we move on to disconnecting the connectors on the motherboard.
We disconnect the coaxial cable connector and release the cable itself from the clips fixing it. Release the second coaxial cable.
We can disconnect the inter-board cable connector, disconnect the connector of the second inter-board cable.
Step 17. Remove the front camera
We can also detach the front camera. Carefully hold the camera so that it doesn't fly out and we don't damage anything.
Step 18. Remove the motherboard
Carefully remove the printed circuit board. There is no need to use a lever or try to reach the circuit board by force. Make sure that nothing is getting in the way or holding the circuit board.
The motherboard, also, may be attached with attachments like latches or hooks, be careful.
â ī¸ī¸ Do not bend the circuit board when removing it or push tools under it. Unbeknownst to yourself, you can damage components or cables from the inside.
Step 20. Remove the cameras
So, we turn over the motherboard, and try to carefully remove the assembly of the three rear cameras.
Let's see from which side we can comfortably pry, lift and remove the camera assembly. Carefully, without hurrying, we take out the camera assembly, make sure there is nothing in the way, nothing obstructing us.
One of the cameras is taped to the motherboard. We gently pry it off by the base. We don't need to hook the cable so that we don't accidentally damage it.
Step 21. Remove the battery
Finally, we move on to detach the battery. Traditionally for Xiaomi, we have brown tabs with the letters A and B, which we need to unfold.
So, tab B, which is located in the middle, we need to unfold it so that it doesn't get in our way. And tab A, which is wide, goes all the way around the edges. We need to pull it up.
We carefully pull the wide tab upwards and detach the battery.
As we can notice, under the battery there is an adhesive transparent coating protecting the inter-board cables.
Step 22. In the display frame remained
âšī¸ī¸ In the display frame remained: the earpiece speaker, fingerprint sensor, vibration motor, and coaxial cables.
