Disassembly/Repair of the mobile device Xiaomi 14T Pro (Xiaomi 14T Pro 2407FPN8EG) with each step description and the required set of tools.

⚠️️ Before disassembling, do not forget to turn your phone off.

First, we need to remove the SIM card tray.

To do this, we use the special tool. Insert it into the hole and gently push the tray out.

Next, we need to heat up the back cover to approximately 70 degrees Celsius or 160 degrees Fahrenheit. We use a heating mat for this, but you can use a hair dryer.

After about 5-10 minutes, we can proceed to detach the back cover. For this, we use a thin plastic film. Carefully insert it into the gap between the back cover and the mid-frame, then slide it along the edge, cutting through the adhesive.

Always be careful around the camera area to avoid damaging the camera lenses. Also, be careful near the side buttons, as the ribbon cables might be located there.

The film we're using can be the protective film that comes with a new display or plastic film from a stationary store.

After this, we need to cover the camera lenses with special protective film. 

Carefully cover the lenses to prevent dust or debris from getting on them.

Moving on to removing the ten screws at the top section. For this, we use a 1.5mm Phillips screwdriver or a Phillips #000.

It's best to arrange the screws in a specific order on a dedicated surface to avoid mixing them up during reassembly.

After removing the screws, we need to detach the cover hiding the motherboard. Gently pry it up from the edge.

As always, we need to find the right spot where it's easy to get under the cover and where we can carefully release several plastic clips holding it in place.

Next, using a non-metallic tool, we need to disconnect the two battery connectors.

ℹ️️ The Xiaomi 14T Pro 2407FPN8EG model has a battery BM5W with a capacity of 5000 mAh (also known as a rechargeable battery).

And we proceed to removing the seven screws in the lower section.

For this, we also use a 1.5mm Phillips screwdriver, and we place these screws separately from the previous ones, just in case.

After removing the screws, we need to detach the lower module, which usually houses the speaker.

Gently pry it up from the edge, lift it slightly, and try to remove this module.

We disconnect the fingerprint sensor connector and disconnect the coaxial cable connector. Release the coaxial cable itself, which is secured to the sub-board.

Disconnect the second coaxial cable connector, also release it. And we disconnect the inter-board flex cable connector too.

Now, we can detach the sub-board.

We also need to find the right spot where the plastic clip is located. Gently pry it up at this spot, lift it slightly, and detach the sub-board.

Don't rush; don't use force to avoid accidentally damaging the sub-board, as it's quite thin.

The sub-board houses the charging port, microphone, and on the reverse side, the SIM card connector.

We need to disconnect the two connectors for the two coaxial cables and release the cables themselves from their securing clips on the motherboard.

After that, we can disconnect the inter-board flex cable connector and the display flex cable connector.

And then we can proceed to detach the cameras.

First, we can detach the rear cameras. Carefully disconnect the cameras and set them aside so they're out of the way. After we've detached the large rear camera, we can detach the heat-dissipating foil that connects the motherboard shield and the front camera.

Carefully peel off the heat-dissipating foil. We'll still need it later.

Peel it off carefully, making sure not to damage anything – neither the camera flex cable nor this foil. By the way this heat-dissipating foil is copper.

After this, we can remove the front camera, which is slightly recessed into the display frame.

Now we can remove the motherboard. We check where it's best to pry it up and note that the earpiece speaker is also attached to the motherboard shield with a heat-dissipating layer.

We peel off this heat-dissipating film, and now we can safely detach the motherboard.

Note that on the reverse side, the motherboard may be held in place by thermal paste.

Finally, we proceed to detach the battery.

Typically for Xiaomi, we have two brown pull tabs. It's really important to read the instructions describing the sequence we should follow (on the tabs).

We peel both tabs back. The tab in the middle needs to be peeled back as far as possible so it's out of our way. The wide tab, which runs along the battery's entire length, needs to be gently pulled upward.

Please note that beneath the battery, there's a transparent adhesive layer protecting the inter-board flex cables.

ℹ️️ In the display frame remained: the earpiece speaker, fingerprint sensor, and vibration motor.
