Step 1.
Open the back cover
Open the back cover.
Step 2.
Unscrew the screws
Using a screwdriver (Torx T6), unscrew 9 screws.
Step 3.
Open the mid-frame
Open the middle cover.
Step 4.
Remove the battery
Disconnect the connector on PCB and remove the battery. The battery model of Asus ZenFone Go ZB552KL is C11P1424.
Step 5.
Disconnect the connectors
Disconnect connectors on the daughterboard.
Step 6.
Remove the sub-board
Remove the daughterboard, also known as sub-board.
Step 7.
Remove the motherboard
Remove the PCB with Sim card holders.
âš Warning!
The PCB is glued to the main board.
Step 8.
Remove the coaxial cable
Pry up the connector and remove the coaxial cable.
Step 9.
Disconnect the connectors
Disconnect the connectors on the PCB.
Step 10.
Remove the motherboard
Remove the PCB.
Step 11.
Remove the cameras
Peel back the protective films, pry up the connectors and remove the front (selfie) and main cameras.
