Disassembly/Repair of the mobile device Huawei Watch GT2 (Huawei Watch GT2 LTN-B19, DAN-B19) with each step description and the required set of tools.
Step 2. Unscrew the screws
Unscrew the four screws using a Torx T2 screwdriver. Slightly heat the back cover of the device and carefully open it.
⚠️️ Important: The battery is located on the back cover and is connected to the main board with a short ribbon cable. Take this into account during disassembly.
Step 3. Unscrew the screws
Lift the lower part and unscrew the two screws with a screwdriver Phillips #000.
Step 4. Remove the bracket
Then we remove the bracket covering the ribbon cable. Disconnect the ribbon cable going to the back cover.
Step 5. In the housing remained
❓ The battery (HB472023ECW), microphone, speaker and sensors remain on the back cover.
Step 6. Disconnect the connectors
Disconnect the ribbon cables going to the board and the side buttons.
Step 8. Remove the bracket
We remove the metal bracket holding the connectors of the display module's ribbon cables. The wide one is for the display, the smaller one is for the touch sensor.
The bracket has a hook at the bottom of the upper part that needs to be bent to remove it.
Step 10. Disconnect the connectors
We disconnect the connectors of the display module's ribbon cables, and remove the main board from the device.
