Remove the trays

Step 1.

Remove the trays

Using the key tool, open the SIM and Micro SD cards tray and remove it.

⚠ Warning!

Do not push too hard this may cause damage.

Open the back cover

Unscrew the screws

Using a screwdriver (Phillips 1.5 mm PH000), unscrew 5 bolts.

Open the cover

Remove the cover hiding the main board.

Disconnect the battery connector

Disconnect the battery connector

Disconnect the battery connector. The battery model of HTC U11 2pzc300 is B2PZC100.

⚠ Warning!

We strongly recommend disconnecting the connector to avoid a possible short circuit during disassembly.

Unscrew the screws

Using a screwdriver (Phillips 1.5 mm PH000), unscrew 5 bolts.

Open the cover

Remove the cover hiding the daughterboard. 

Unscrew the screws

Using a screwdriver (Phillips 1.5 mm PH000), unscrew 2 bolts securing the small antenna board.

Remove the small board

Remove the small board

Lift the small board.

Remove the loudspeaker

Remove the loudspeaker

Pry and remove the buzzer (speaker) assembly.

Remove the coaxial cable

Pry up the coaxial cable on the small board.

Disconnect the connectors

Disconnect connectors on the daughterboard.

Unscrew one screw

Using a screwdriver (Phillips 1.5 mm PH000), unscrew 1 bolt in the daughter board.

Remove the sub-board

Remove the daughterboard, also known as sub-board.

Disconnect the connectors

Disconnect connectors on the PCB.

Remove the front camera

Remove the front camera

Disconnect the connector on PCB, and remove the front (selfie) camera.

Unscrew one screw

Unscrew one screw

Using a screwdriver (Phillips 1.5 mm PH000), unscrew 1 bolt in the PCB.

Remove the motherboard

Remove the motherboard

Remove the PCB.

Remove the rear camera

Step 19.

Remove the rear camera

Disconnect the connector on PCB, and remove the main camera.
